11:30am - 12:30pm

Shift Yourself Through Sound! - Group Biofield Tuning with Karen Yates – 60 minutes

Biofield Tuning is a non-medical therapeutic method using the sound waves of tuning forks to induce deep, targeted relaxation with powerful outcome potential. Group Biofield Tuning shifts the patterns and rhythms of the electromagnetic energy that flows through and around your body. Participants recline comfortably as it is conducted. Karen reads, interprets and adjusts the group energy. It is a combination of coaching, education, and deep energy healing. The potential for change is real. The energy center (chakra) we will work on will be determined based on the specific group assembled. Bring a yoga mat, pillow, and blanket. No latecomers will be admitted.

1pm - 2:15pm

Yoga as Ceremony - Forrest Yoga with Anna Schabold - 75 minutes

Forrest Yoga is based in the rich practice of traditional yoga from the east, but applied for the modern lifestyle. Forrest Yoga practices are carefully sequenced to spread breath throughout the body and move emotional and mental shielding deep within the muscular system. Learn to work the edges of physical and emotional reactivity and sensations of the body. Poses are held long, flow sequence moves slower, sweat builds as you learn to connect deeply to your core. Options are given for beginning and advanced students. Forrest Yoga does not require strength or flexibility; it only requires a willingness to learn how to feel authentically and respond honestly. The practice is founded on four pillars -- Breath, Strength, Integrity and Spirit. Anna will guide us through the experience of using your yoga practice as ceremony: how to set sacred space and intention, which will support and shape your physical practice. Bring a yoga mat and a blanket. No latecomers will be admitted.

2:15-3pm

Break: Connecting + Reflecting // Tarot + Bodywork

Enjoy light refreshments and connect with other attendees.

3pm-4:15pm

Reiki Group Healing and Guided Meditation with Lindsay Hopkins - 75 minutes

Participants will be lead through a meditation focused on guiding you to connect to your energy body and pull energy from source above and recharge from the earth below. Using the Chakra system each participant will receive a chakra balancing and energy healing session during the group healing. Short 1-on-1's will be administered during the session, ending with a silent savasana. Essential oils will be administered for those interested.

*all participants will receive a voucher gift of $25 towards a private 60 min session with facilitator Lindsay Hopkins, Reiki energy healer and Bodywork practitioner (sessions located in Logan Square)

5pm - 6:15pm

Somatic Movement with Carrie Drapac and Kira Elliott - 75 min

This is a gentle mat-based practice which addresses chronic pain and muscular imbalance at the level of the nervous system. If you suffer from recurring body pain or feel like your muscles just won't release no matter how much you stretch, Somatic Movement will help you discover a truly effective way of changing your body's patterns. You'll leave this class knowing simple movements you can do every day in your own life to reduce and remove physical discomfort. The class will be co-taught by Comfy Fitness owners Carrie, skyping in from LA to guide the class, and Kira on site in Chicago to assist participants with physical adjustments.
